Please read the message below from a fantastic team of DP (High School) students who are organizing a fun Halloween event for our PYP students. Note: this event will take place at the end of the school day from 13:30-15:15 on October 27th, the last day before the half term break. This is an event for our students only.
PYP students may bring Halloween costumes to school that day and change into them before the DP Halloween Train begins in the afternoon. Please remember we have very young children in the school so please ensure your child’s Halloween costume does not include any weapons and please ensure your child’s costume is not scary/frightening for our younger children. Please do not allow your child to bring fake blood. Your child should be able to independently put on his/her Halloween costume with minimum help from the teachers.
Hello PYP Parents,
We are so excited to tell you that we will celebrate Halloween with your children this year!
We, the DP1s, are creating a Halloween Trail for all PYPs, consisting of dressing up as favorite characters or meeting them, playing a wide range of games ranging from a treasure hunt to a pumpkin toss, and enjoying Halloween candy.
We are doing this not only to celebrate Halloween but also as a fundraiser for UNICEF. A donation starting at 5 euros would be extremely appreciated, so that we can make the biggest impact we can. All money raised will go towards a treatment for severe malnutrition, RUTF.
We also need some help with recycled material too. Please help us by donating the items listed here:
You can drop them off in the PYP building before October 26th.
We hope that this event is just as exciting for your children as it is for us.
We can’t wait to see all the PYPs there having Halloween fun!
