📌 MYP 5 – DP 1: STEM Pathways for Girls STEM Project by Fondazione Bellisario, March – June 2023
We are most pleased to announce the start of the STEM Project for a group of 20 girls students from MYP 5 and DP 1 in collaboration with Fondazione Bellisario. Please find here the poster of the workshop entailing 8 dedicated sessions on:
CV writing; Women empowerment & equal opportunities; 4 info sessions on University courses & Careers in STEM: 1 Science (Physics, Maths, Astronomy), 2 Medicine (Vet, Dentistry), 3 Science (Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology), 4 Engineering; Soft Skills workshop; Individual tailored session with Mentor from Fondazione Bellisario; Visit to some companies in the Veneto region.Â
The first session begins on Monday, 6th March at 15:30 in the Music Room.
📌 MYP 5 – DP 1: Luiss Summer School 2023 – Registrations open!
Since 2011 Luiss Summer Schools help high school students to choose their course of study, whether inside Luiss or not, on an experiential basis, and to accelerate their entry into Luiss if they so wish and to spend a week of university life having fun. Dear DP 1 families, thank you for participating in the DP 1 Kick Off Evening on February 16th! It was a pleasure to meet parents on Campus and connect with others online. Information on Standardized Testing:
Many US universities are remaining test optional for the Class of 2024, but not all. Review the list here. We recommend all students in DP 1 to sit an SAT test before the end of the year if they are considering a US application. Please go to this website to check international testing dates and find a free sample of SAT practice test.
Valdo Academics offers SAT preparation courses: including a summer course starting on July 1st (60 hours, starting July 1st, every weekday morning) and 1:1 tutoring.
