We are collecting clothes, shoes, toys, books, sports equipment and other items to sell during our Spring Swap Market which will be held at the H-FARM Campus on Saturday May 13th.
Proceeds from the Swap Market will be used to better the educational future of students affected by the devastating earthquake in early February.
Funds raised will be used to:
- create an emergency fund that supports further study at the H-FARM Campus for up to two Turkish students
- contribute to the re-establishment of educational systems in specific areas of Turkey where one of our teachers and other members of our community have friends, family, and former students.
Donating your gently used yet further useful items is a tangible way for you and your children to help Turkish students who will be impacted for years to come after the earthquake.
Starting from Monday 27 March your donations can be brought to school before 8:30 or between 15:20-16:15. All donated items must be brought to the PYP building to the space indicated below.
- All items must be labelled with your name. Loose items such as multiple pieces of clothing must be in a closed bag.
- When entering the PYP building please announce yourself to Antonella or another member of the school staff.
- Kindly wear your H-IS Parent badge.
- Sign in with your name and a brief description of the items you are donating.
- All donated items must be brought to PYP gymnasium and stored neatly in the designated shower room attached to the girls changing room.
Very Important: All donated Items must be clean and gently used. (***items that are not clean or in bad condition will be returned to the donor).
