Student Led Conferences provide another way for parents to learn more about their child and their learning at school. Student Led Conferences will be held for all PYP students (Early Years and Elementary) on Monday, June 19.
Please be sure you carefully read this information so you understand the intent and process behind these special conferences with your child.
Please note: Monday, June 19th is not a regular school day. Your child will come to school with you for their individual conference hour and then leave with you when the conference is finished. This means the following for all PYP students (Early Years and Elementary): there are no school buses, no lunch and no after school activities on this day.
A note for our Year 5 parents: If your child is taking the Italian exams during the last week of school – June 19-21, he/she/they will not take part in Student Led Conference so please do not sign up. If your child is not taking the EXTERNAL Italian exams, or if he/she/they have taken the INTERNAL exams the previous week, he/she/they will prepare for their Student Led Conference with you so please be sure you sign up for this important experience with your child.
Student Led Conferences are an opportunity for you to spend quality time with your child in school learning more about his/her learning throughout this school year. This is not a meeting with teachers, although they will be present throughout the day. Childcare will be provided for enrolled siblings during your scheduled conferences to allow you to spend individual time with each of your children.
