Please note the date and time for our first PYP FAMILY event: STEAM Explorers!
This event will be held in the PYP building on Monday, October 23 from 14:00-16:30.
All PYP parents of Early Years and Elementary students are invited to attend our STEAM Explorers event WITH your children.
STEAM = Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics.
Throughout the afternoon, all around the PYP building, our teachers will be offering STEAM related challenges for you to work through with your children. Please join us to tackle the range of challenges we have planned: Tower Building, Making Poop/Human Digestive System, Oil Spill Clean-up, Bridge Building, Muscle Function, Bubble Painting, Water Glass Music, Dancing Balloons and Airplanes, Materials Exploration – Sinking and Floating, Maze Making, Creating your own Thermometer, Creating and Coding your own Musical Instrument, Nature Painting, Crawling Colors, and Make your own Volcano.
Students must be supervised by and with their parents throughout the event which starts at 14:00.
Sports, Arts & Culture and paid supervision after school activities will be held as they normally are but we do hope you plan to attend the STEAM Explorers event with your child. Please inform the office if you and your child will participate in the STEAM Explorers event instead of his/her/their regularly scheduled after school Sport or Arts & Culture Activity, and if your child is not taking the school bus.
