This week we welcomed Kate Kuleshina to our EYU team. Kate has replaced Francesca Giombini who returned to the Netherlands to pursue other opportunities.
We’re happy to introduce you to the new Honey Bees teaching assistant: Kate Kuleshina. Kate has had previous experience working with students of all ages in a variety of contexts and we’re excited to have someone with her background, linguistic and otherwise, joining our team. Thank you for helping Kate feel welcome.
Kate was born in the cultural capital of Russia – Saint Petersburg. Following her passion for arts, culture and languages, she graduated from a music school (violin and piano) and a dance school (classical ballet and modern). After completing her Bachelor’s in Fundamental and Applied Linguistics, she moved to Taiwan where she worked as an English Language Teacher and an artist while studying Mandarin. In 2020, she moved to Italy to obtain her Master’s in Human Rights from the University of Padova. Her commitment to education and cultural exchange continued in Italy, where she served as a Tutor Buddy for international students and a Group Leader for high school students pursuing internships abroad. In her spare time, Kate enjoys playing the ukulele, practising yoga, travelling the world, exploring different cultures and learning languages. She values spending quality time with friends and is a dedicated volunteer. She has volunteered as an educator in Taiwan and as a translator in Italy.
