Our Year 5 students were amazing on the football pitch throughout the day on Wednesday. They were incredibly lucky to have warm temperatures and blue skies (once the nebbion burned off!). Team spirit remained high throughout the day as our students competed against teams from H-FARM Vicenza, H-FARM Rosà and English International School of Padova, during the 2nd Annual Football Tournament for students aged 8-11 hosted by the English International School of Padova. The 20 minute matches were officiated by referees and our teams remained strong and committed throughout each match.
Our two teams did extremely well and we are very proud of them:
Girls: 1 win, 1 tie and 2 lost
Boys: 3 wins, 1 loss and then they arrived in 2nd place in the final tournament match
Mr Erik and the whole Year 5 team have been amazing coaches throughout the preparations for leading up to and during yesterday’s tournament.
