I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to provide an update on the current Maths situation, since the school’s acceptance of Ms Hammoud’s resignation earlier this week.
I am pleased to announce that we have identified a highly qualified teacher who is an excellent fit for our school. However, due to existing contractual obligations, he will only be able to start in January.
We’ve appointed 2 maths teachers (1 for the DP and 1 for MYP) on an interim basis. This step guarantees that the class maintains effective progress in the curriculum. These interim teachers will have the support of our maths department and should be starting on Monday.
Additionally, we have secured the services of a Maths teacher who will be available to provide specialised support for DP2 students working on their Internal Assessments. This arrangement is intended to ensure that your children receive the necessary guidance and assistance for their IAs.
