Workshop with Telefono Azzurro

Workshop with Telefono Azzurro 1920 1080 School Office MYP & DP

This week, Telefono Azzurro, a non-profit organization dedicated to child protection and support, has been visiting our school to engage with our M1-3 students on the crucial topic of online safety. As part of their mission, Telefono Azzurro operates a national helpline where individuals of all ages can report cases of abuse, seek guidance, or find support. Additionally, they conduct advocacy work and educational programs to raise awareness about children’s rights and prevent various forms of abuse.

During their visit, the volunteers conducted workshops on the metaverse and artificial intelligence, aiming to provide hands-on activities and engaging discussions to help students analyze and reflect on the benefits and drawbacks of online behaviors. These workshops were attended by class teachers and the school counselor, Ms Fiammetta Gioia, who spearheaded the event, ensuring that students receive comprehensive support and guidance in navigating the complexities of the online world.
