Next week, we will administer a practice test for the International Schools Assessment (ISA) in Maths and English (Reading) to MYP1, MYP3, and MYP5 students.
These assessments allow us to evaluate our curriculum and identify any learning gaps by comparing our students’ performance with thousands of other international schools. The results are used solely to improve our educational offerings. They will not impact students’ grades or influence course selection in the MYP or DP.
The following week, we will conduct the official ISA tests. Students will take the Maths portion during their Maths class and the English (Reading) test during their English class. There is no need for students to study or prepare, as the tests aim to capture their current knowledge. By then, students will have completed the practice test and will be familiar with both the format and the computer interface.
Please read the ISA Privacy Statement to parents and contact Mr Emiliano Cori, Head of School, Mr Paul Iacco, Head of Programme MYP1-3, or Mr Giles Isbel, Head of Programme MYP4-5, with any questions or concerns.
