Yesterday, our DP students had the privilege of welcoming a distinguished guest: Mr. Timashev, a renowned entrepreneur, technologist, philanthropist, and founder of Veeam Software.
During his visit, Mr. Timashev engaged with the STEM department members to explore innovative teaching methods, a topic he is deeply passionate about. Following a lunch with the students that fostered meaningful dialogue and connection, he participated in an exclusive Ignition Lab session, where he shared his professional journey and offered invaluable insights.
This was a unique opportunity for students to interact directly with Mr. Timashev, posing questions about personal development, business, entrepreneurship, and the future challenges in the tech sector. Although Mr. Timashev recognized the combination of technical competence and entrepreneurial spirit as key elements of success at H-FARM International School, he was clear in encouraging students not to fear making mistakes but to see them as a starting point for personal growth.
