Dear Families,

I am excited to share details about two meaningful activities as part of the “Art with No Limits” unit that we have been working on with MYP4 students. This unit explores how art transcends boundaries and serves as a powerful medium for self-expression.

We recently completed the first activity in this unit, where students experimented with painting using their feet to challenge conventional artistic methods. This hands-on experience encouraged them to reflect on how limitations can foster creativity and empathy.

The upcoming workshop, “Art with No Limits“, will take place at Casa Famiglia Conegliano. Children with special needs will lead a session on art and painting, offering our students the opportunity to learn something new, be inspired by their creativity, and experience art from a unique perspective. This workshop will once again demonstrate the power of art to break down barriers. To support the group, a Spanish-speaking parent will accompany us, ensuring a rich linguistic immersion in Spanish.

The program will break down in two steps:

The coordinators from “Casa Famiglia Conegliano” will visit us to prepare MYP4 (Spanish) students for this workshop scheduled for February 7th at their institution.
