Dear DP Parents and Students,
I hope you all had a fantastic holiday and were able to rest, relax, and recharge, ready for the exciting months ahead!
We started on fire this week, diving straight into routines. The energy and enthusiasm in the hallways have been incredible, with students returning to school fully charged and ready to embrace the next chapter of their learning journey.
Our DP1 students are back to their routines and have started working on their Extended Essays, an important milestone in their IB journey that encourages independent research and critical thinking.
A special mention goes to our DP2 students, who have started their Mock exams this week. These exams are a vital part of their preparation for the final DP assessments and provide them with a valuable opportunity to reflect on their learning so far. We wish them all the best as they work through this important milestone!
We are also excited to announce the establishment of the Student Council this year! The council is composed of representatives from DP1, and its purpose is to foster student voice, strengthen community engagement, and contribute to enhancing the overall student experience. The council will work closely with staff to bring forward ideas, organize events, and represent the perspectives of the student body.
As we settle back into routines, a few reminders:
- Please ensure attendance updates are submitted to ManageBac in advance,
- Encourage students to maintain good self-management habits, such as organizing their materials and staying on top of deadlines.
- Continue to engage with your child about their learning by checking ManageBac and discussing their progress regularly.
Thank you for your continued support in making this a fantastic learning environment for all.
Ms Casagrande
