Following our introduction in December, we’re excited to invite you to Mindfulness in Life, an 8-week, child-friendly programme for families with children aged 7-11, grounded in the latest scholarly research. This programme is designed by Dr. Silvia Natale (MSc, BSc), in collaboration with Ms. Lucy Hermon (H-Farm Primary Well-Being Coordinator) and H-Farm IBDP CAS students.


Mindfulness—paying attention to the present moment with kindness and curiosity—has been shown to have the following potential benefits:

  • For Children: Enhanced attention, emotional balance, social skills, and academic performance.
  • For Adults: Reduced stress, protection against anxiety and depression, and greater well-being.

Families will follow the programme independently at home, using Mindfulness@H-Farm, a dedicated website that provides detailed instructions for all the practices.
If you’d like to participate, you can choose your level of engagement:

  • Dipping in: 1-2 practices weekly
  • Engaging: 3-4 practices weekly
  • Mastering: Daily practice (5-20 min)

The programme starts this Monday, January 20th 2025. Registrations close on Sunday the 19th January. The first ten families to sign up will also receive the printed version of the programme resource kit, co-created with the IBDP CAS students.
