Dear Parents,

Last week our PYP 5 students hosted a wonderful Exhibition. They were passionate, articulate and knowledgeable and their teachers were rightfully proud.
On the same day, our DP1 students spoke eloquently for their IB Theory of Knowledge Exhibition.
On Friday, we came together – teachers and students and parents of all ages – for the graduation ceremony to celebrate the many successes of the class of 2024.

I forgot to mention the sports day last week, and of course, our MYP1s and 2s are presenting their research at our science fair today. In all of these cases, our students have admirably distilled their experiences and research and connected these to a real world problem for a varied audience. I wanted to share how proud I am of our students and our teachers who support these creative assessments.

Many of our students will be sitting exams over the next month and I know they will keep in mind that the purpose of these exams – indeed all assessments – is nothing more than to demonstrate and celebrate what they have learned. We are with them every step of the way.

At this time of the year when we check in on student progress, we also want to check our own as a school. To do this, we rely on you, our parents to fill in the following survey.

This is in some ways our end of year exam and we look forward to hearing your feedback on our progress. The * at the end of the sentence means that the question is mandatory.

Warm regards,
Conan de Wilde
