Dear Parents,
The holiday season is upon us and we hope that you and your loved ones remain as healthy as possible and that you are able to enjoy the Christmas holidays with your families.
We wanted to remind you of the upcoming holiday dates:
School holidays: 8th – 9th December and 22nd December – 8th January
On Thursday and Friday, December 8-9, the school will be closed for a national holiday.
21st December is the last day of school before the Winter Holiday. This is a half day of school. Students will not eat lunch at school and will be dismissed at 12:30, before lunch. Due to the high number of people we expect during dismissal on this day, all Early Years students will be brought to the Welcome Center plants for dismissal at 12:20.
Buses will depart at 12:45. Please find the updated timetable at this link. All students are expected to be in school until 21st December; learning will continue and teachers will be present.
But before the long holidays begin, we look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on 16th December at the PTA Winter Fair (see the programme for further information).
If you have already made the decision to continue at H-IS next year, thank you for your commitment to our community. If you are undecided as to your choice of school for next year, please make sure that you speak to our heads of programme or, indeed, anyone in the school who you think might be able to help you make your decision. In the programme-specific sections of the School Office Notice next week you will find invitations to further MYP/DP information sessions which the school will be holding between now and the end of January on subject choices and transitions between years and programmes. If you would like to start the re-enrolment process, please follow the steps below:
Enrolments 23/24
Enrolments for our families are now open! Please use this link to access the enrollment platform.
We remind you that due to the structural changes made on the platform it will be necessary to reload the attachments, to verify that the data entered in the different fields are correct, and to sign the enrolment contract that will then remain valid for the entire course of study (PYP, MYP, DP). Should you experience any malfunctions in the new platform, please report it to office.tv@h-is.com.
A friendly reminder of the next deadlines:
- Renewal process available exclusively for current students until 15th December;
- Enrolment process available to all new students starting on 22nd December;
- Boarding enrolments available starting on 22nd December;
- Reduced Registration fee (1.000 €) for enrolments submitted before 31st January 2023;
