We are thrilled to celebrate the successful conclusion of our English language workshop Tuesday 30 April, delivered by our exceptional junior students to the senior citizens in Roncade!

This initiative not only exemplifies our commitment to community service but also highlights the invaluable soft skills our students have acquired through service learning. Throughout the workshop, our juniors demonstrated remarkable dedication and empathy as they engaged with the citizens of Roncade, fostering meaningful connections and providing invaluable support in learning the English language. By volunteering their time and expertise, they not only enriched the lives of the seniors but also gained invaluable experiences that extend far beyond the classroom. Service learning offers our students a unique opportunity to develop essential soft skills such as communication, empathy, leadership, and cultural awareness. Through hands-on engagement with the community, they learn the importance of giving back, empathy towards others, and the power of collaboration in creating positive change.

As an IB high school, we are proud to instill in our students a sense of social responsibility and global citizenship. Through projects like this we remain true to our school mission statement empowering students to be internationally-minded citizens, shaping their own future in a rapidly changing global community. Through innovative learning environments and the development of relationships based on compassion and respect, we enable students to become confident, creative and collaborative.
