🥘 Friendly reminder to the whole community to contribute to Foody, the H-FARM Community Recipe Book project, meant to fundraise towards ResQ, the humanitarian civil fleet saving migrants in the Mediterranean.
🎗️Kind reminder to our community to contribute towards the MYP 4 SA Project – Violence against women. You can bring clothes, cosmetics or hygiene products to school. As a sequel for this initiative, the receiving organisation Centro Donna Padova will deliver a talk in our school, as part of the Ignition Lab speaker series on 16 January 2023.
🎊 Congratulations to our MYP 5 students Sahara Strader, Marzia Feiferri, Nandini Singh for their human rights awareness campaign on Campus held on Wednesday, 7th December, in celebration of the International Human Rights Day. We are happy to share with you a testimonial from the students regarding the relevance of their initiative: International Day Of Human Rights: The day the United Nations general assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. A day of reflection, a day of courageous protests, a day full of hope for change. Due to the current international events, we believe that it is important to acknowledge and highlight the liberties and rights we are surrounded by but many individuals aren’t. Thus we took action, with a symbol of unity, the red mark on our face represents our passion and acknowledgement for change. The whole H-FARM community was involved in this moving initiative. We thank the support provided by the students, teachers, and staff.
🙏 A warm thank you to our community! Thanks to your generosity, our students are able to implement their projects and act for the greater common ground and common good! The SA/CAS programmes allows our students to be knowledgeable, principled, open-minded and caring, all attributes of the IB learner profile.
