Reflecting on the Design Ignition Lab 2024!
On March 5th, we had the pleasure of hosting an unforgettable experience for M3, M4, and M5 students at our Design Ignition Lab 2024.
With the support of the visionary Berto company in Bovolenta, near Padua, we delved deep into the world of sustainable fashion. Through captivating videos and an engaging exhibition, our students gained invaluable insights into the production and dyeing phases of jeans, discovering what it truly means to craft denim in a sustainable way.
But the excitement didn’t end there!
Our Design Technology teacher, Ms Maddalena Mometti, had a surprise up her sleeve: an exclusive opportunity for students to showcase their creativity in a design competition! Partnering with H-FARM International School and Berto, this contest is a call to action for proposals of clothes or accessories crafted from Berto’s sustainable jeans fabric.
