Last week, three of our DP students, Giacomo and Matteo Parra Osorio and Carlo Sadocco shared their CAS project about Life Cycles with our three Early Years classes. Our students learned about the life cycle of chickens and then got to meet several different chickens of different ages.

The DP students then used chicken eggs as a way to raise funds for the Sant’Egidio association. During the PYP Art Show last Thursday, parents got to take home farm fresh eggs after making a donation.

The DP students chose the Sant’Egidio association because the organization supports a wide range of humanitarian and social initiatives aimed at helping vulnerable populations around the world, including support for the poor, support for refugees and migrants, and community involvement.
