This week, our MYP1 students had the unique opportunity to mentor PYP3 students as they began their exciting journey into fable writing. Drawing on their own experiences from earlier this year, when they studied and crafted original fables (even publishing them in a beautiful book!), the MYP1 students guided the younger writers in developing the conflicts in their stories.
With wisdom gained from their own creative process, the MYP1 mentors provided advice on crafting meaningful lessons through imaginative storytelling. The PYP3 students eagerly embraced this guidance, brainstorming clever animal characters and intriguing challenges for their fables.
This collaborative exchange not only helped the PYP3 students launch their projects with confidence but also allowed the MYP1 students to reflect on their own growth as writers and leaders. Stay tuned to see the PYP3 fables come to life in the coming weeks!
