Details:
- When: Tuesday, May 13th
- Where: Quinto di Treviso (TV)
- What: Oasi di Cervara
- Unit of Inquiry How the World Works: during our visit, we will have a guided tour of the park and meet a special surprise visitor! We will also have plenty of time to explore the park, observe the natural surroundings along the Sile, and practise our bird-watching skills. The centre offers educational and informative activities for schools, as well as opportunities to interact with various birds of prey. In 2012, the Oasis launched the La Selva dei Gufi project, with the goal of establishing the first Italian centre dedicated to the study of nocturnal birds of prey.
Logistics:
- Program: We will leave school at 8.30 (together with Y1 students) and return after lunch time.
- What to wear: comfortable clothes, a sun hat and comfortable walking shoes. Please apply sunscreen and mosquito repellent.
- What to bring: a small backpack (no trolley) and a full water bottle
- Snack & lunch: the school will provide it (students should not bring any food with them)
What to do if:
- My child can’t participate: if it’s either a scheduled absence or your child is sick, please inform us as soon as possible. Please note: the educational visit is effectively part of the didactic programme of the school. For this reason, we expect all students to participate.
Payment and confirmation:
- Daily trips are included in the “2024-25 daily trips” payment so no extra payment is needed for this trip.
