In February, we will administer the International School Assessment (ISA) for MYP 1, MYP 3, and MYP 5 students in the subject areas of Maths and English. These assessments help us audit our curricula and determine possible learning gaps for the specific grade levels versus thousands of other international schools.
The results are purely so that we can improve as a school. These exams will not affect students’ grades nor will they determine course choices in the MYP or DP. The assessment period is from 6th to 17th February 2023. Students will be taking the Maths test during their Maths class and their English test during their English classes. There is no way that students can study or prepare for the tests and we are simply looking for results which reflect students’ existing knowledge.
