Dear MYP1 Parents,
We are pleased to inform you about the upcoming educational trip to GRAFICHE TINTORETTO – Castrette di Villorba | TV.
Students will discover the stages of book production and understand the role of technologies and professionals involved in the printing process while experiencing the printing of the fairy tales book they created during the units in Italian and English.
The students collaborated to create the storybook, sharing ideas, discussing content, and planning the structure of the stories together. This process improved their ability to express themselves, listen to others, and work as a team. The visit will be an opportunity to consolidate these skills. During the visit, the students will observe the printing process and interact with the staff, asking questions and discussing what they see among themselves. This context will provide them with the chance to apply their communication skills in a real-world environment, different from the school setting, and to strengthen their social skills through a shared experience.
This visit was added to the original calendar following a generous invitation to welcome our M1 students by Grafiche Tintoretto. The Italian and English teachers enthusiastically embraced this opportunity, as it complements the class project in several classes focused on creating short tales.

👕 Students are required to wear their school uniform
🍽️ The school will provide morning snack, lunch/buffet offered by Grafiche Tintoretto
What to do if
My child can’t participate: if it’s either a scheduled absence or your child is sick, please inform us as soon as possible.
Please note: the visit is part of the school’s didactic programme. For this reason, we expect all students to participate.
Payment and confirmation
Daily trips are included in the “2024-25 daily trips” payments, so no extra payment is needed for this trip.
