We are pleased to inform you that a school trip has been organized for the MYP2 classes on March 31st, 2025, which will take place during school hours. In the morning, we will visit the MiM – Interactive Museum of Migrations in Belluno, and in the afternoon, we will move on to the Longarone Vajont Museum.
This experience has been designed to provide students with the opportunity to engage with crucial themes related to human rights and respect for cultural diversity, fundamental issues that are at the heart of our educational path.
The visit to the MiM will allow students to interactively explore the stories of migration, better understanding the challenges and experiences of those who have left their homeland in search of a better future. It will be an opportunity to develop empathy and awareness regarding the diversity and hardships faced by others.
In the afternoon, the visit to the Longarone Vajont Museum will offer students the chance to delve into an important chapter of local history, linking the historical, geographical, and human aspects of the Vajont tragedy. This will be a moment of deep reflection, useful for developing a sense of responsibility towards natural and social heritage, as well as promoting awareness of the value of historical memory.
We are confident that this experience will significantly contribute to the cultural and human development of the students.
Please note:
Students will meet at the tractor at 8:30am. Departure from school right after.
Estimated return to school: by 4pm.
