Special Event for M4 Students!

This Friday, January 24th, our school is hosting an exciting event dedicated to M4 students as part of the Sustainable Design Challenge and Acceleration Lab program. The day will feature a special talk by Karel Krpan, Sales Agent Italia at FKUR, a company of excellence specialising in the production of bioplastics.
The 2nd teaching unit of Design Technology course for M4 students of Miss Mometti will be dedicated to lamp design and to participation at the Design Challenge. FKUR’s talk is intended to provide inspiration and technical information on sustainable materials to be used for lamp design projects. With regard to the Acceleration lab held by Mr Castillo, the activity is included as one of the company testimonials in the programme to deepen market analysis and user needs and positioning with respect to competitors; it can also show how design can be one of the levers of competitive advantage.
These activities are designed to inspire students and deepen their understanding of sustainable design and its real-world applications and to develop Creative thinking skills (Generating novel ideas and considering new perspectives, Make unexpected or unusual connections between objects and/or ideas, Create original works and ideas) and Transfer skills (Utilising skills and knowledge in multiple contexts).
