Dear MYP5 Families,
As we approach the release of report cards on February 7th, we would like to take this opportunity to clarify the promotion requirements for students transitioning from MYP5 to DP1.
At the end of MYP5, each student will be evaluated for promotion to the regular IB Diploma Programme (DP) based on their academic performance, attendance, and overall conduct.
These requirements are designed to ensure that students enter the DP fully prepared for the challenges of the programme. The IB Diploma is a rigorous two-year course that demands strong academic foundations, independent learning skills, and consistent engagement. Setting clear entry criteria helps us ensure that students are placed in an environment where they can succeed and thrive.
