We are thrilled to announce an exciting educational trip to Cambodia, planned to take place from May 5-15, 2025. This incredible journey will offer students a unique opportunity to explore Cambodia’s rich history, culture, and traditions while engaging in meaningful community work.

Below is an overview of the proposed itinerary:
Itinerary
Day 1 (May 6): Arrive in Phnom Penh
Upon arrival in Phnom Penh, students will be met by our Camp Cambodia team and transferred to the hotel to check in and rest before enjoying dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 2 (May 7): The Killing Fields, S21, and the Royal Palace
A day of exploration awaits as we visit the infamous S21 prison and the Killing Fields to learn about Cambodia’s tragic history under Pol Pot. The day concludes with a visit to the stunning Royal Palace, home to the Cambodian Royal Family since the 1860s.
Day 3 (May 8): Transfer to Camp Beng Pae
Students will travel to Camp Beng Pae, where they will meet the camp team and receive a briefing about their stay. They will settle into the traditional longhouse accommodation and prepare for the days ahead.
Days 4-6 (May 9-11): Community Project Work
Students will engage in vital community projects, including supporting sustainable livelihood initiatives like building wells or improving local school infrastructure. Evening activities will include cultural events and sports with the local community.
Day 7 (May 12): Community Project Work and English Classes
The morning will be spent completing community projects, followed by assisting in English classes at a local school. The day ends with sports activities with local children and time for reflection around a campfire.
Day 8 (May 13): Kulen Elephant Forest Project and Transfer to Siem Reap
Students will visit the Kulen Elephant Forest Project, preparing food for and walking with retired Angkor elephants. Afterward, they will continue to Siem Reap, check into the hotel, and visit the vibrant Siem Reap Night Market.
Day 9 (May 14): Angkor Wat and the Phare Circus
The group will explore the iconic Angkor Wat with a guided tour before enjoying an evening performance by the Phare Circus, a non-profit organization empowering Cambodian youth through performing arts.
Day 10 (May 15): Departure
After breakfast, students will bid farewell to Cambodia and return home.
