Outside Play for PYP Students 2000 1333 School Office PYP

Yes, the weather has been quite cold, but very beautiful this past week. The lack of rain has allowed us to have our students outside playing during their break times. Playing outside is a fundamental part of every child’s development and is an essential part of developing social, physical and emotional skills in addition to strengthening their eyesight. Our students will play outside unless it is raining. All children who come to school must be well enough to participate in all activities that make up our school day, and this includes going outside to play. The idea is that if your child is well enough to be in school, they are well enough to go outside. This policy helps ensure we minimize the spread of colds, flu, stomach ailments, etc.
