We are always excited to enhance the learning experience of our students with a wide range of Educational Visits. These visits are designed to augment in class learning by providing additional stimulation and other perspectives on our curriculum. We have a huge number of visits planned for all of our PYP students throughout this school year, with many already having taken place. Below you will find a partial list of these amazing additional learning experiences that the PYP students have had/will have during this school year. Honey Bees: Campus Walk/BeeHive visit, in-school clay/pottery workshop, Bailo Museum – tour and workshop
Busy Bees/Reception Rockets: Teatro Sant’Anna (gli Alcuni), Treviso – Performance: Galline (The Ugly Duckling), in-school clay/pottery workshop, Geronimo Farm – Ponzano
Year 1: La Fabbrica della Scienza – Jesolo, Bardin Garden Center/Buddha Restaurant, Teatro Malibran – Pinocchio performance, Oasi Cervara, Ca’ Marcello
Year 2: Walking tours of Quarto di Altino, Roncade and Treviso (including a visit with the Mayor of Treviso), Parco degli Alberi Parlanti/International Restaurant lunch, Contarina, Venice architectural walk
Year 3: Grafiche Tintoretto – Printing Company, La Sfera di Pistacchio – Theatre and Dance workshops, Val Camonica: Archeopark – residential (1 night), Naturalistic navigation along the Sile River, Adventure Park “Le Fiorine”
Year 4: Guggenheim Museum/Frarys Restaurant lunch, Venetian Ghetto tour/Orient Experience lunch, Florence/Vinci – residential (2 nights), Ai Pioppi Park
Year 5: Lake Garda Sailing – residential (3 nights), EISP Football Tournament, Quarto di Altino Archeological Museum, Verona: Teatro Romano, Arena di Verona, Comune di Roncade (including a visit with the Mayor of Roncade), Emilia Romagna (Rimini: Italia in Miniatura and Modena: Parmesan Cheese and Balsamic Vinegar) – residential (1 night), Muve Museum
