Our Year 5 students and indeed, all of our students and teachers are gearing up for the PYP 2024 Exhibition. The Year 5 students have already begun developing their understanding of the UN Sustainable Development Goals as they prepare to choose their Exhibition focus. They recently gathered the elementary students together to reflect on the significance of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and to invite other students to take part adding questions, connections and actions to our interactive display near the PYP Outlook. In the coming weeks, our Year 5 students will continue to learn more about the UN Sustainable Development Goals as they prepare for the intensive part of the Exhibition process starting from April 8th.
The PYP Exhibition is the culminating learning experience for PYP students. Yearly, our Year 5 students study and share something they are passionate about that “helps to create a better and more peaceful world” (IB Mission Statement). Every year our students’ projects are creative, engaging and thought provoking and every year, we demonstrate not only how amazing our students are, but also how committed they are to being good humans.
We want our Year 5 students to share their impactful learning with as many people as possible so we will host four different Exhibition presentations, each to a different type of audience. Invited guests, across two days, will include: all PYP students, the students, teachers and the Head of School from IC Roncade, the mayor and vice mayor of Roncade, H-IS and H-FARM leadership, the MYP/DP teachers, and all PYP parents. We are pleased to invite PYP Parents (EYU and Year 1-Year 4) to the PYP 2024 Exhibition on Friday, May 24th starting from 13:30. (Note: Year 5 parents have been invited to a dedicated sharing session on Friday morning)
