As we are all aware, there has been much devastation in North Africa in recent weeks. As a school it’s important we act as a community to do what we can to help ease the suffering.
Our house captains have decided to put the friendly rivalry aside and all are working together to help raise money for the good cause. Please read their message below and we have further updates for you in the coming weeks.

Dear Parents,
We are the group of House captains of this year, and, for our first S.A. and House Event we organized a found raiser to help the people in North Africa who lost their homes, clothes, toys money and much more because of the flood caused by the ‘Storm Daniel’a big hurricane that happened last week. This caused a lot of problems, and in this city of 100,000 people 30,000 people are not found, 20,000 people were found dead, and this is a total of 50,000 people, so this says that approximately 50% of the people in the city were victims. Now experts have these results, but the victims might probably be more, because not the whole city has been searched. We want to help these people by raising awareness and money. There will be placed four boxes at the entrance in the MYP building, on the table in front of the secretary. Each box will represent a house (Rockies, Dolomites, Atlas and Himalayas), and you will need to put the money you donate in one of the boxes. The house which in the end of next week will have collected the most money will win House Points!
