Since the devastating earthquake took place in Turkey and Syria several weeks ago, we have been researching ways that the PYP students and families can provide support or donations. The situation is very complicated for a number of reasons and we have not yet proceeded with any collections or donation programs to be sure the items/money collected actually gets to the people who were affected by the earthquake. With the PTA, we are in the process of considering longer term support initiatives. We will update you as soon as we have a more concrete and sustainable way for PYP families and students to participate in relief efforts.
