Before Christmas we collected small toys to donate to the Smiling Center Lucky Summer in Kenya which is sponsored by the Una Mano per un Sorriso Project. Our students took part generously in this giving initiative that was prompted by our Year 3 students when they were learning about children’s rights and specifically children’s right to play.
Today we’re happy to share the smiles and joy that our donations created among the children who received them. Here you can view some short videos of the excitement the Kenyan children demonstrated when receiving our gifts. The children at the Smiling Center, and the organizers were very appreciative of our donations.
