In M1 the students are currently designing their own Eco-houses. This is an IDU (Interdisciplinary Unit) involving Maths and Science. In Maths the students are studying how Geometry is used to design Eco-Houses and what shapes best suit a sustainable design. In Science, the students are using their knowledge of sustainable energy to reduce Carbon emissions.
Together, they are combining the learning to design their Eco-House with ideas taken from both subjects!
